the origin

Before i taught wealth,
I survived without it.

Growing up first-gen, money wasn't a topic at the dinner table — it was a source of silent stress, creative survival, and quiet shame. I learned to stretch a dollar before I learned to multiply one. I watched the adults in my life work hard and still come up short — not because they lacked discipline, but because nobody handed them the blueprint.

That kitchen table became my first classroom. And long before I ever sat in a finance lecture or earned a Wall Street license, I already understood something most textbooks never teach: money isn't just math. It's access. It's identity. It's power. And for so many of us, it's the first place where we learn whether the world sees us as worthy of wealth — or not.

I didn't just want to

After years as a VP at Merrill Lynch — managing wealth for others — I realized the system wasn't designed to teach. It was designed to serve those who already had. So I left. Not for comfort, but for clarity.

My work is rooted in a simple truth: financial confidence is not a personality trait — it's a learned skill that too many people were never given access to. The Road to a Million movement was born from that conviction. It's not about getting rich quick — it's about healing your relationship with money, building economic identity, and creating legacy that outlasts you.

I work with first-gen women who are done performing confidence they don't feel. I work with young people who deserve to see themselves as investors before they turn 18. And I work with organizations who finally understand that closing the wealth gap starts with changing the conversation — not just the curriculum.
